Gray wall, fat cat yawns.
A blank way splays all days.
Flash a black flame, pack a mad rat
Tat Tat Tat
Ameerah Arjanee wrote the poem ‘Untitled’ in response to Ross Sutherland’s Univocal Challenge.
Ross Sutherland says: Great small poem. The poet uses the constraint to great effect here. A cat as a “black flame” is particularly evocative.

Ace little experiment
It has a kooky, dark nursery-rhyme feel about it, especially with the rat tat-tat-tat at the end.
It’s a nice little poem but, the ‘e’ in ‘flame’ means it doesn’t count as a Univocal poem.
Well spotted Hopi! It is a silent “e” though, so the poem sounds like a univocal poem, room to be indulgent I think.
