Writing Misguided Tours: Live Workshop Saturday 22nd October at 2pm

Join poet Richard Tyrone Jones and if:book’s Chris Meade for an online  workshop on Writing (Mis)Guided Tours and Other Poetry Happenings on Saturday 22nd October at 2PM where you will be guided into writing your own (Mis)guided Tour Poem.

Places are limited so please email chris@futureofthebook.org.uk if you’d like to participate. The workshop will take place using the new Google+ social network and its Hangout feature, so you’ll need to be signed up to Google+ in advance and be online with a webcam. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Richard and Chris will be at the Unlibrary in Hornsey, London, and if you live nearby you can join them in person.

Richard gives us a taster tour:

Richard Tyrone Jones is the Director of ‘Utter!’ which runs spoken word events and (mis)guided tours: walking tours which mix true fact with wild imaginings and downright lies.

Richard’s one man show, RTJ has a Big  Heart, was on at the Camden and Buxton Fringe Festivals this year and will feature at next year’s Edinburgh Festival. “raw, at times graphic, and very funny.” – BBC
